EURO 2020 Group Stage Results

EURO 2020 group stage has ended - time to sum up the achievements:

Group A

At the moment, Italy is one of the main favorites of the Champions trophy of EURO 2020. Roberto Mancini's team finished the group stage with no losses and draws. Italy scored 7 goals and since 2019 this team hasn’t lost!
It was very hard for Switzerland and Wales to compete with such a “titan” as Italy but they tried very hard and proved that they deserve a place in the playoffs! At least Turkey lost 3 games and went home with only 1 goal in total.

Group B

Sensational group with all teams from North Europe has started with a tragedy. After the first half of Finland vs Denmark, Cristian Eriksen  (attacking midfielder of Denmark) had a heart attack. It was really hard for the Denmark football team to play while their teammate was in the reanimation, so they lost the first game. Now Eriksen is alright and at home with his family.
Next games in this group were like roller coasters, only Belgium looked like the real favorite of the group. 
In the playoffs we will see Belgium and Denmark (which found those necessary points in the second game). Russia and Finland also played very well but they scored not so many goals to compete with other 3rd position teams from the other groups. 

Group C 

This group was easy to predict. We have an obvious pretender for the first place in Euro -  Netherland, one underdog - North Macedonia and two equal teams which contested for the 2nd place - Austria and Ukraine. 
As a result - Austria, Netherlands and Ukraine will continue their EURO 2020 in the playoffs, but struggles in this group will be remembered for a long time. More than 18 goals (more goals were only in Group F with EURO 2020 main favourites) and 0 draws! 

Group D

Group D looked like a medieval struggle between Mist Albion and Europe: England and Scotland vs Czech Republic and Croatia. By the results only Scotland has been eliminated from EURO 2020 and 3 other teams will continue their story in  the playoffs.

GROUP E

One of the most balanced groups at EURO 2020 opened a lot of new young talents which will shine in the near future! Especially Alexander Isak who became a legacy of the most famous Sweden football stars - Zlatan Ibrahimovich! 
In the next round we will see only Sweden and Spain, because Poland and Slovakia made  a lot of mistakes in the deciding games. 

GROUP F

This group was literally the har-mode for every team in it. Germany, Hungary, France (World 2018 Champions) and Portugal (EURO 2016 Champions)! Every game was a sensation, and every minute in this group is unforgettable! There were no surprises that 3 teams went to the playoffs and everyone knew that Hungary had the lowest chances to move into the next round. By the way Hungary vs France and Hungary vs Germany are still the most emotional games of the group stage!
