Every NFL fan will be excited about the upcoming season, especially considering the "Top 100 Players in 2022" list. By tradition, this list compiling by the football players themselves. This article will focus on the top 5 quarterbacks, from Joe Burrow to Aaron Rodgers.

No. 5 Joe Burrow - Cincinnati Bengals

Top prospect Joe Burrow led the Bengals to their first Super Bowl appearance in 33 years in 2021 and boasts a mighty hand with laser precision. Last season, he could very well compete with Aaron Rodgers, according to the NFL's 108.3 passer rating.

His skill stats for the 2021-22 season are one of the best:

  • 4,611 yards and 34 touchdowns against 14 picks

Burrough's swagger, resilience, and ability to step up when it matters, combined with his athleticism and leadership qualities, are big reasons the Bengals have reached Super Bowls. Unfortunately, this season for Joe started not very successfully, but we all hope he will have time to get a grip and begin to show dizzying results.

No. 4 Josh Allen – Buffalo Bills

Josh Allen is called one of the best quarterbacks of the season and a live NFL superstar. He is also a candidate for the title of MVP with +700 odds.

Allen is a particular player and will take Aaron Rodgers off the podium on Super Bowl Sunday this season. He might claim the No. 1 spot, but Patrick Mahomes is tagging along.

By the way, Jordan Palmer, former NFL quarterback and current Director of Quarterback Development for the XFL, calls Josh Allen a "rare one" because he didn't have elite-level quarterback training like many young players have today.

His performance last season was awe-inspiring:

  • 149.0 passer rating and 9:0 TD-to-INT ratio in Buffalo's two playoff games.
  • 409 completions (franchise record) for 4,407 passing yards
  • 36 touchdowns (15 interceptions) while adding 763 rushing yards (franchise record for a QB) and six more scores on the ground

It's not that hard to be the best quarterback on the top team in the AFC West. Patrick Mauhome has been winning after winning and coordinating the team perfectly on the field since 2018. The Chiefs ranked first in the NFL in points and total offense with him.

Super Bowl LIV was an eventful and successful season for the team and Mahomes. For the first time in 50 years, the Kansas City Chiefs won a playoff championship, and for the first time in team history, a quarterback won the NFL MVP.

Moreover, he was the first-place player of the NFL top 100 players of the 2021 full list. This season, he fell 7 points in the overall player rating and took third place in the quarterback rating.

Some impressive stats from Patrick Mahomes:

No. 2 Tom Brady - Tampa Bay Buccaneers

It is symbolic that real NFL long-livers occupy the No. 2 and No. 1 spot in the ranking. American football veteran Tom Brady has celebrated his 23rd and second seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Yet, for all the time of his sports career, he only once did not get into the top 10 players.

This sporting year will be the last for the 45-year-old player, so Tom needs to mark him with a victory. After that, Brady is waiting for a 10-year contract with FOX Sports worth 375 million dollars and a career as an announcer or ambassador.

The quarterback's statistics from last season are very telling:

No. 1 Aaron Rodgers - Green Bay Packers

Aaron Rodgers is the "old guard" of the Green Bay Packers. The 38-year-old quarterback has as many as FOUR League MVP titles and is currently in the prime of his sports career. However, many analysts believe that Rodgers has every chance to win another MVP title this year.

The goal of the Greens quarterback, which he stated in one of his interviews, is to lead the team to the championship and win another Super Bowl.

Aaron's game's characteristic features are consistent performance, excellent passing accuracy, and a clear ratio of touchdowns and interceptions. The indicator of his game is something incredible:

  • efficient 4,115 yards passing
  • 37 touchdowns to just four interceptions
  • in last season notching a 71.8 completion percentage
  • a 14:2 TD-INT ratio and a 126.1 passer rating when trailing in games

Rodgers had his ups and downs last season, such as a game against the Niners in which the Packers quarterback could not execute his offensive strategy due to a solid opposing defense. Aaron said he was ready to end his career then, but a $150.8 million contract extension with the club convinced him to keep working.
